DJ Wu Shu has honed his skills of manipulating vinyl records since the turn of the millennium. Spending valuable years in both the metropolis of Boston, Massachusetts and the sleepless college town of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, Wu Shu has garnered a strong fan base with his unique blends, quick hands, spontaneous decision-making and undeniably dope scratching. His ability to cater to audiences of many genres, including hip hop, r&b, dancehall, reggae, nu school breaks, rock and so on, Wu Shu can adapt his sound to captivate the listener’s attention. Wu Shu has also rocked crowds at Caesar’s Palace, the Casba, Axis, Vertigo/ 9th St. Bar, and the Bluebird, as well as being featured on WFHB and WIUS and even opening up for the legendary Philadelphia hip hop collective, The Roots. Currently the resident DJ at the Jungle Room/ Uncle Festers in Bloomington, Wu Shu helped initiate and grow the club’s weekly “Hip Hop Night”, the longest running event of that nature at IU, which has now become known as a nationally recognized party school. It is clear that DJ Wu Shu is prepared to make his takeover and move into a spotlighted role in the game. His latest endeavors will include radio and mixtape maneuvers as he prepares to step up his list of accolades and accomplishments in 2008.
